Here at HEARO Community College Mentorship Program, we aim to advocate for, inspire, and empower Community & Technical College (CTC) students, first-generation students, and returning learners. We aim to ensure that every individual who approaches the academic or professional world feels holistically supported, regardless of their background.

Our team is dedicated to providing students academic and career opportunities, connecting them to mentors tailored towards their path, and incorporating holistic wellness at home, school, and work, while maintaining their focus and increasing their productivity.
Leading Ambassadors & Mentorship Programs
Integrating a student-centered mentorship and an ambassador program to empower students with increased self-confidence and peer support and gain hands-on real world group projects to prepare them after college.
Solidifying access to mentorship for ALL CTC Students in Washington State
We spearheaded a program based in Washington state that pairs CTC students in Washington state with college graduates, career professionals, late undergraduates, and graduate students in their fields of interest! For more information, see the mentorship services tab!

Brianna Cruz
To kick off HEARO's CAREER TESTIMONY SERIES, we are proud to introduce Brianna Cruz. Brianna is a 2022 graduate of the University of Washington, currently working as a paralegal in Washington State, preparing for application to law school.
Brianna details her undergraduate journey, extracurriculars, and the preparation leading up to studying for the LSAT.
