CTC Mentorship Program
HEARO COMMUNITY COLLEGE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
2025-2026 CYCLE
The HEARO Community College Mentorship Program was created in 2020 to bridge the gap between ambition and access for community college students. We believe that every student deserves the guidance, resources, and support to reach their full potential—whether that means transferring to a four-year institution, pursuing graduate education, or launching a meaningful career. Community college students are often the first in their families to pursue higher education and may face unique barriers—financial, academic, or personal. HEARO is here to break down those barriers by offering consistent mentorship and a strong support system.

What We Do
-
One-on-One Mentorship: Students who attend community and technical colleges in the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) region are paired with upperclassmen, graduate students, and career professionals in their fields of interest.
-
Community & Belonging: HEARO fosters a supportive network where students can share experiences, celebrate wins, and grow together.
-
Expanding Access: We are growing across the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho), ensuring that more students can benefit from mentorship.

Mentees
Community and technical college students who are interested in receiving mentorship can apply HERE. Although we accept applications on a rolling basis, we reccomend students submit their applications by OCTOBER 20TH for priority matching. We cannot guarantee a match for every student. Students must be over 18 years of age and attend an institution in the WWAMI region. The program is flexible, and students can meet with their mentors as often or as little as they wish.
